We had a blast last weekend with 21 women from all across North America at the Koigu Farm. We know many of you wish you could have been there, so I’ll be sharing a quick behind the scenes recap on the event.
Thursday
Everyone arrived on Thursday and was settled in before dinner which included a presentation by Taiu on the History of Koigu.
Friday
Friday was a busy day starting with a colour workshop at the Inn with Taiu. In the photos include shots of the colour swatches which the students created. Followed by lunch and then a tour of a local winery (Coffin Ridge). Dinner included a fashion show featuring garments from the upcoming Koigu Magazine 10 and Vill 2.
Saturday
On Saturday everyone got on a bus and came to the Koigu Farm, where we started with a tour and followed with dye workshops. Everyone got to dye their own skein, and then spend of the rest of the day wandering the farm, shopping the Koigu wall and of course knitting!
