The Koigu After 8 Collection is a group of patterns new and old, all patterns have been knit up with Koigu wool and have been handpicked for an after 8 collection highlighting enjoyable patterns in a variety of yarn weights and styles. The After 8 Collection is our take on late night knitting patterns to help wind down after a long day or anyone starting their day. The Collection highlights some of our favourite designers in a variety of stunning colours and styles. All patterns are available on either our website or the designers websites and Ravelry.
Into The Pines Mittens by

Knit with our Othello chunky weight yarn these quick knit mittens were the perfect gift over the holidays for friends and family. The pattern can be made with either our Koigu Othello or Koigu Chelsea Aran weight and was knit on US 10, 6mm DPN’s, this pattern is available in adult medium 120 yds adult small 100yds child 80 yds and toddler 50 yds.
Azzo Cowl by Taiu Landra:
Made with our Othello merino, this chunky cowl is available in five colour options. Option one is what you see and was knit with one skein each of O310, 02432, O930 and 2433. This pattern was knit with 10 sts = 4” or 10cm needles. For a nice selvage edge slip the first stitch and purl the last stitch on every row and is available for free on the Koigu website.
Holiday Slipover by Petite Knits:
This cozy vest was knit up with our Masham Boucle and is a must knit for any late night knitters looking to create a beautiful slipover. The Masham boucle gives this vest a light bouncy feel while also keeping the wearer warm for late night TV and knitting. The deep armholes allow the wearer a full range of motion for any and all activities. This pattern is available on Petite Knits Ravelry and make sure to check out any and all of her designs.

Deborah Newton’s latest design with Koigu’s luxurious Kersti crepe K2401. This pattern re-imagines our Kersti DK weight yarn in a full length sweater with its lace and cable design. For any who don’t know Koigu’s Kersti crepe is the perfect yarn for late winter into early spring knitting due to its tight spin that increases the natural elasticity and loft of the merino.

Also a part of our Koigu Collection 1.0 this seven skein pattern puts the power completely in the hands of the knitter, with two skeins of two slightly contrasting colours in KPPPM with two complementary KPM colours and a KPPPM for the tassels. Once your four colours have been selected and placed as needed your next decision is to pick a bold or cool colour for your tassels. A nice accessory to any outfit from a night out with friends to sunny walks on the beach.
