How to Read Your Koigu Skein Label

How to Read Your Koigu Skein Label

We know that sometimes you may buy skeins of Koigu, planning a beautiful project to make, full well meaning to make it that very night, but something comes up and that skein gets hidden in  your yarn stash for many moons. Months later, your crafty hands start to itch again and your Koigu finally gets pulled back out for a new idea! You then realize you need to order more of that colourway of yarn and you're not sure exactly what those letters and numbers mean on the label...

It's very simple and we're here to help!

Shawl inspiration

What’s better than shawl knitting in the summer? Nothing! It’s the perfect project to drop in your project bag for road trip drives, relaxing on the beach and nights around the fire at the cottage. Or if your in the heat wave we currently have at Koigu, shawls are great to wear and knit in air conditioning... hopefully if you have it! I’ve rounded up some of my favourite shawl knits right now, if your in need of a new project plan!

Koigu Destination Yarn Shops!

Our Koigu Travel guide for your next exotic knit-cation!

Having a Local Yarn Store nearby that you frequent almost exclusively is the best! You know exactly where all of your favourite yarns are (like Koigu, of course), the shop owner knows your name and asks how your most recent project is coming along, etc. So lovely!

But what if you're going on a trip, you want to explore, and you still need your dose of Koigu yarn shops and fiber cuddling?!

We have Koigu all over the world and so many of our shops are in beautiful locations! Here a handful of them, along with a stunning spot to include in your trip to each city with a Koigu yarn shop!
