Painted Bunting - Collector Colour

The first in our series of colourful bird inspired collector colours! PAINTED BUNTINGs are beautiful bright coloured birds in the Cardinal family, Native only to North America.

PAINTED BUNTING is a new type of variegated dyeing Taiu has tried out to mimic the blocks of colour on the painted bunting. The electric blue will stripe and pool differently when knit up because, as you can see (below), the kilogram hank was dip dyed half blue rather than hand-striped. We can’t wait to see what projects you come up with!

PAINTED BUNTING is a KPPPM fingering weight merino collector colour available in 50g/175yds/160m skeins.
